Social Dances

Take The Lead dance socials are a great way to practice what you've learned, make some new friends, or just enjoy a fun night of dancing!

All events are open to the public, and dancers of all levels are welcome.

Please check the schedule in case there are any changes.

Ballroom Dance Socials

Held the first, third, and fifth Saturdays of the month, our ballroom dance socials play a mix of Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Swing, Rumba, Cha Cha, and more.

The party starts at 7pm with a free 30-minute lesson.  Dancing is from 7:30pm-10pm.

Admission is $15/person at the door.  Light snacks are provided, and a cash bar is available.

Friday Night Latin Nights

Held the second Friday of each month, our Fridday Night Latin Nights, hosted by Living in Rhythm @ Take The Lead, feature guest DJ's playing a mix of Salsa and Bachata with the occasional Cha Cha, Merengue, or Kizomba.

The party starts with a free lesson around 9:15pm, followed by dancing from 10pm-1am.

Admission is $15/person at the door.  Light snacks are provided, and a cash bar is available.

Sunday Night Latin Nights

Held the fourth Sunday of each month, our Sunday Night Latin Nights feature guest DJ's playing a mix of Salsa and Bachata with the occasional Cha Cha, Merengue, or Kizomba.

The party starts at 7pm (sometimes with a lesson, sometimes not; check the schedule for details) and goes until 11pm.

Oldies Dance Affair

Held the fourth Saturday of each month, Oldies Dance Affair is hosted by Kenny Ellison and features DJ Tony Moore playing a mix of old and new favorites.  Enjoy a night of Bop, Cha Cha, Strand, Steppin, Ballrooming, Swing, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Line Dancing, and more.

The party starts at 6:30pm with a free 30-minute lesson, followed by dancing from 7pm-11pm.

Admission is $10/person at the door.  A cash bar is available.
